BioMy name is Barnabus Collins.
I am cursed with not only my damnation, but also the pain it brings me. I want so desperately to be human, but instincts I can not ignore control me. I am driven by a deep desire to act as an evil being. I am bitter, sad, and often tortured by the remnants of my own conscience.
I am also a coward.
I loathe what I have become, and I despise myself for being too weak to fight it. Heaven help me, if I could step out of my house during the day I would. I do not have the strength of character necessary, and I am haunted by the notion that others around me will suffer for it.
I ignore most of the above thoughts and concentrate on trying to re-create the life so cruely taken from me so many years ago. I have everything I need for such an endeavor. I have a family, a home, people that consider me a friend (foolishly). As always, I make the best of what I have accomplished so far.
